For the time being, I will not be writing anything for a bit, due to devoting my energy at the moment towards VGRC’s relaunch and getting some content. I’ve been promising Cap’n that I would get off my bum and start writing, and it’s time to make due that promise.

Sorry for not writing in a while. I need to slap myself and get my fingers moving, but I’ve just been so busy with all these vacations and camping and things.

So. Valve decided to grace our gas-masked, rubber-suited friend with some new weapon upgrades, unlockables, and a whole lot of new achievements. To add to all this excitement, we’re also seeing two new levels added, and a new video in the “Meet The [class]” videos!
HOW SIMPLY AMAZINGLY FUN :D
This is probably one of my favorite games ever.
You start off as a man in a plane named Jack (from what we can see, he holds up a present with his name on it). However, something goes horribly wrong, and your plane crashes into the ocean. Breaking up into the surface of the water with a gasp, you look around you to see wreckage and flames, and head toward a large building jutting up out of the water. Walking up a ramp, you go in to see a large, golden statue of a man with a banner that simply says:
“No gods or kings.
Only man.”

Okay. Let me get the point out right here and then: I love, love LOVE Team Fortress 2. I would even go so far as to call it my favorite game ever, except for maybe Bioshock and Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. However, sometimes I can’t help but get annoyed at some things in this game, and most of them are at the people playing. So let’s start out, shall we? (BTW, I actually got the idea for this from another blog, Galactic Emporium: Gaming. Check it out. It’s pretty damn cool.)

To start this thing off, I’m going to post about Flight of the Conchords, New Zealand’s fourth most popular folk-parody duo something or other. Why do I start with this, you ask? I’ve been listening to them practically nonstop for the last couple of weeks and, to me, these guys are comedic geniuses. For those who don’t know, Flight of the Conchords is a parody band from New Zealand, composed of two people: Bret McKenzie and Jermaine Clement. In addition to releasing albums, they also have a show on HBO.
